Carolyn is a legendary personality known for her half-century of innovative contributions in piano teaching and preschool music instruction.
Being involved in group piano teaching since it’s groundbreaking creation in the early 60’s along with professors and other visionary music Teachers College, Columbia University, she continues to give seminars on the subject throughout the country and Europe. Her expertise in the most innovative methods and skills along with that of her experienced staff which adds fresh ideas continually, best serves the students for a tailored approach for each one’s individual needs.
In addition, she offers four Kindermusik programs for ages of 4 months to 6 year olds.
She’s been on the staff of the Berkeley Heights, Mountainside and Westfield School systems, The Yamaha school for Preschool Children, The Westfield Summer Workshop for the Arts, The Jewish Community Center of Union County, Apple B’s Preschool of Warren, Kean University, The Adult Schools at Governor Livingston of New Providence and Westfield, St. Paul’s Day School, as well as the Christopher Academy Montessori schools of Westfield and Scotch Plains.
Ms. Kueter was awarded her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University, and a Masters degree in Education from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She continues her study at Ryder University’s Westminster College in Princeton, and has received recognition from Who’s Who of American Teachers, Who’s Who of American Women, and Who’s Who in the East. She was the first recipient in 1999 of The Westfield Rotary’s Annual Award for Vocational Excellence, in addition to being well-know for community and other volunteer participation.
